Traditional Music Team
Mark & Cindy Elliot
Mark and Cindy Elliott provide traditional music leadership, directing choir, and assisting Pastor Brian in the leadership of traditional worship. Mark and Cindy have for 50 years led and accompanied small and large church music ministries in Monroe, Snellville, Conyers, and other metro counties. They have led choirs of all ages – children to seniors, led youth on over a dozen choir tours, participated with their children in a half-dozen Honduras mission trips, and led weekly jail ministry in Rockdale County.
Married for 43 years, God has blessed them with 9 children and 18 grandchildren. They met and married in Monroe. Cindy taught high school chorus and special ed. in WCPS at Loganville HS, Monroe Area HS, Loganville Middle, and Walton Career Academy. Mark retired from a high-tech career at three Atlanta colleges/universities. Cindy has grown in her understanding of God’s call on her life through Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) International (leading youth Bible study) and Stephen’s Ministry (Christian caregiving). God has given Mark and Cindy a heart for adoption, discipleship, and encouraging the Church to be the Church. Their lives attest that you can’t out-give God – that God is glorified every time you joyfully return to Him the gifts He has given.
Their hobbies include celebrating the blessings of family, taking grandchildren on discipleship adventures, using music as a means to share the Good News of Jesus, and puttering around the “family compound” with grandchildren and a menagerie of Cindy’s critters.
